Updated Continued Personal Medical Exclusions (CPME) Switch Form
Our updated Continued Personal Medical Exclusions (CPME) form is now live on our broker hub. This newly updated form must now be used for your customers who are looking to switch to Cigna Healthcare Global Individual Health from another insurer. From 15 March onwards, only the updated form will be accepted, and the previous version will no longer be valid for submission
Customers who already have an international medical insurance plan with another provider may be able to switch to Cigna Healthcare Global Individual Health on the same underwriting terms, provided they meet the required criteria and complete the health questions included in the CPME form. A current Certificate of Insurance (COI) and transfer from a comparable product will still be required as part of the assessment process.
What's Improved in the Updated Form
The updated CPME form includes enhancements designed to support a smoother, faster onboarding experience:
- Health declaration questions are clearer and more specific
- Timescales are now built in
- Easier for customers to complete
- Quicker underwriting decisions
These improvements help ensure we collect the right information upfront, supporting a more efficient and accurate review for CPME eligibility.
What You Need to Do:
- Use the updated CPME form for all eligible switches
- Ensure your teams and support staff are using the new version only. Please delete the previous version, as it will not be accepted after 15 March.
- For support or questions, please reach out to the Broker Support Team.
Thank you for your continued partnership and for helping ensure a seamless onboarding experience for customers switching to Cigna Healthcare Global Individual Health.
