Introducing an enhanced Platinum experience
We are pleased to introduce an important enhancement to the Platinum plan from Cigna Global Health Options, designed to further strengthen the level of support available to Platinum customers.
Platinum policyholders now have access to a dedicated Platinum Customer Experience Team, delivering specialist support for claims and enquiries on a 24-hour basis.
Dedicated support for Platinum customers
The Platinum Customer Experience Team has been created to support customers with complex or ongoing healthcare needs. Specially trained on the Platinum proposition, the team provides a premium support experience that reflects the expectations of Platinum customers.
Key features of the service include:
- 24-hour support for claims and general enquiries, available in English, French, German, and Spanish
- Personalised assistance from specialists with in-depth knowledge of Platinum benefits
- A consistent point of contact focused exclusively on Platinum customers
This enhancement helps ensure customers receive expert, responsive support whenever they need it.

Alongside this service enhancement, the Platinum plan continues to deliver an exceptional level of cover, including:
- Comprehensive maternity and newborn cover, with extended hospital care following birth
- Mental and behavioural healthcare paid in full, with straightforward access to professional support
- Optional outpatient cover to support the ongoing management of selected pre-existing conditions
- Exclusive access to Carrot, providing support for fertility and hormonal health journeys
Platinum customers also benefit from access to a global network of more than 2.2 million hospitals and healthcare professionals, Global Telehealth services, and guaranteed lifetime renewability with no age limit.
Customer communications
The Platinum Customer Experience Team officially launched on 6 May. Existing Platinum customers should already have received an email announcing the new service and introducing them to the Platinum Customer Experience Team on that date.
