Life and Leadership Across Asia Pacific

My name is Amy Stone, and I am the Business Development Manager for the Asia Pacific region at Cigna Healthcare Global Individual Health, based in Hong Kong, where I have been living and working for the past two and a half years. I joined Cigna Healthcare Global Individual Health four and a half years ago, with two of those years spent in Dubai supporting our global direct individual business. That experience gave me a strong foundation in understanding the needs of globally mobile customers, the importance of reliable international health cover, and the real difference the right support can make when customers are far from home. It also provided valuable insight into global market trends, which naturally led me to my current role working closely with our broker partners across the Asia Pacific region.

Since relocating to Hong Kong, I have had the pleasure of working alongside brokers across a diverse and fast-growing region. Asia is a vibrant hub for globally mobile individuals and families. Our brokers play a critical role in helping customers access the right healthcare solutions, and I am proud to support them in delivering coverage that offers confidence and peace of mind, wherever their customers may be in the world. With access to our 24/7 customer service team, customers can feel reassured that help is always available when they need it most.

One of the aspects I value most about my role is the relationships I have built with our broker partners. Brokers in Asia bring exceptional market knowledge, professionalism, and genuine dedication to the people they support. Partnering with them allows us to better understand their customers' needs and provide meaningful, responsive support. Whether it is helping to find the right solution, supporting business growth, or simply being available when assistance is needed, I view our partnership as a true collaboration.

Our dedicated broker sales and support teams work closely with partners to provide timely assistance, technical expertise, and ongoing support. I especially appreciate Cigna Healthcare’s continuous focus on evolving our products and services. This commitment to improvement helps us deliver long term value to customers and enables our brokers to offer the best possible experience to the people who rely on them.

It is incredibly rewarding to work in such a dynamic region and to be part of a community focused on delivering strong outcomes for customers. Supporting our brokers, strengthening our relationships, and contributing to their continued success is what makes my role so fulfilling. I look forward to continuing to grow these partnerships across the Asia Pacific region in the years ahead.

On a more personal note, I’ve truly grown to love life in Asia. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring Hong Kong’s fantastic restaurant scene, spending time with friends, and making the most of everything the city offers. Travelling around the region is something I’m particularly passionate about, and I try to take every opportunity to explore somewhere new. Earlier this year, I went on a ski trip to Japan and spent time in Krabi and Phuket with my sister and niece, chasing a confident toddler up and down the beach, which turned out to be more fun than it sounds. I’m now looking forward to visiting Beijing, with the Great Wall high on my to-do list.

Asia is a truly special part of the world, and I feel very fortunate to live and work here. I look forward to many more years in this beautiful region.
