Enhanced Payment Security Is Now Live!

Cigna Healthcare has introduced new secure payment features across the Cigna Healthcare Broker Portal and the Quote & Buy Portal. These enhancements are designed to strengthen data protection and ensure compliance with global standards, reflecting our commitment to safeguarding customer information.

Option 1: Zero-Value Payment Feature

Brokers can now securely enter payment card details when uploading a new business application form through the Cigna Healthcare Broker Portal.

  • Payment card details are optional until the customer confirms they wish to proceed.
  • If an application does not result in a policy, any details provided will be securely deleted in line with best practices.
  • Use of this feature is at the broker’s discretion, based on individual business needs and legal assessment.

Option 2: Secure Payment Links

For new policies, brokers can request or share a secure link for customers to submit payment card details directly through the Quote & Buy Portal.

Secure Payment Link for Updates

When customers need to update payment card details but cannot do so via the Customer Area Portal, brokers can now request a secure link for updates to be submitted safely.

Key Reminders

  • Updated application forms no longer include a payment details section.
  • Payment card details must never be sent or received by email.
  • Brokers should only collect card details when customers are present in the office or by telephone.
