Cigna Healthcare Close Care

Cigna Healthcare Close Care is specifically tailored for individuals who do not require global coverage, providing cover in the policy holder’s country of residence and country of nationality only. So your customer will only pay for insurance in areas they spend time in.

This plan is highly customizable, with two optional modules to expand cover, including Outpatient & Wellness Care and Dental Care (no Vision cover). In addition, International Evacuation and Crisis Assistance Plus, is a dedicated, optional module to ensure the peace of mind of globally mobile customers as they travel or relocate abroad.

Cigna Healthcare Horizon is for customers who live outside of the US who have recently left a Cigna Healthcare Group health plan (e.g. a plan supplied by their (ex)employer) who still require international health insurance so are now looking for individual cover. Cigna Healthcare Horizon offers a smooth transition to keep your customers covered and at ease.

Our Global Telehealth service gives your customers 24/7 access to licensed doctors around the world for non-emergency health issues through video calls or phone calls.

This is an intuitive route to access care, as our members can simply call anytime, anywhere, at no extra cost. Through the service, medical professionals can provide people with a diagnosis for non-emergency health conditions, help them prepare for an upcoming consultation or hospitalisation, or discuss any medication or treatment plan with them.

Clinical Case Management

Complex conditions need assistance that goes further than the reimbursements of medical costs. If a customer qualifies for the Clinical Case Management Program, a Case Manager will contact them to ask if they would like support.

The program is free of charge before, during and after hospital admission. Our Case Managers are qualified, multilingual nurses who are specifically trained for this program, offering both practical and moral support.

Decision Support Program

Whether your customer has a serious medical diagnosis or a chronic condition, the Decision Support Program can connect them to support, education and world-class experts that can help them manage their illness. They can also get access to a second opinion, if and when needed, to ensure they can be confident in their next steps.

Their Cigna Healthcare Case Manager will have nursing experience and can connect them to an expert physician to help answer questions they may have regarding their diagnosis and treatment plan.
